Lore · Declassified in part

The Story.

Short version: something keeps arriving off the Gold Coast. We make clothes about it.

Alley, the Saturday alien: a sleek navy alien head with glossy black gold-rimmed eyes and a gold Saturn ring, hovering over a hologram pad

Alley.

There is a seam on the horizon where the surf meets the sky. Most people never see it. Alley lives on it.

Alley is the Saturday alien. Came down off the Gold Coast one glassy morning, paddled out before anyone was awake and never went home. Rides snow at dawn, surf at dusk, and reads a swell like a star chart.

The gold ring isn't decoration. It's a homing beacon. Wherever it tilts is where the next clean line is.

  • Never takes a bad wave.
  • Never seen in the same place twice.
  • Answers every signal. (Tap the head anyway.)

Drop 008.

Saturday counts arrivals, not seasons. Eight times now, something has come down out of the sky off the Gold Coast. The eighth one wore a dinner jacket.

Agent 008 walked out of the swell with a board under one arm and a gold mic in the other, and he hasn't checked out since. Shades on, bow tie straight, cover never blown.

Drop 008 is what he brought back: free wallpapers, stickers and a QR that summons the hologram. Take what you like. He'd want you to.

The codes.

Every Saturday piece carries a code, every tee, every hoodie, every sticker. To most people it's a square of dots. To Alley it's a signal flare.

Scan one and Alley picks it up, wherever he is, and comes to see who called. The big gold code on the 008 QR Tee does something else: it summons the hologram.
